Abraham Kuyper Bibliography

portrait of Abraham Kuyper

Welcome to the Abraham Kuyper Bibliography, an authoritative guide to the secondary literature on Kuyper and the most extensive online record of publications on Kuyper. The bibliography currently contains 1431 records.

History

The bibliography was initially created in 2006 using the bibliographic management system Wikindx, known for its multi-collaborative functionality. For reasons of improved design, navigation, and usability as well as more integrated alignment with its digital path, Princeton Theological Seminary Library moved the bibliography to its MarkLogic platform in 2011. The user interface was updated in August 2016.

The Abraham Kuyper Bibliography is edited and periodically updated by staff of the Princeton Theological Seminary Library and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, which Abraham Kuyper founded in 1880. The acquisition of bibliographic information is assisted by scholars worldwide. This bibliographic database forms part of a larger Princeton/Amsterdam project that also includes the Digital Library of Abraham Kuyper.

Scope

The bibliography includes books and articles in books; articles from journals, magazines, and newspapers; thesis abstracts; and web resources. There are no geographical or linguistic restrictions on publications covered.

Arrangement

All bibliographic records are entered by the name of the creator and the title and are classified topically.
